Methods of Payment

We accept Zelle, Bitcoin, Chime, Venmo, Cashapp and Bank Transfer on the website. If you would like to pay with an alternative method, please contact us via Email or live chat. Pro Outboard Engines reserves the right to cancel an order at any time. 

*Customer cancellations made via the Affirm payment method will have a 10% transaction fee.

Sales Tax

Pro Outboard Engines is not obligated to collect sales tax on any order shipped from Huston, Texas to any location outside of Texas. Without exemption status or proof of export (BoL), orders delivered to Texas addresses will be required to pay Tx sales tax.

Back Orders

If an item is subject to a manufacturer’s delay, a Customer Service Representative will notify you. If you would like to continue with your order to ship when available, we will charge you for the order and ship as soon as your unit arrives. Internet credit card authorizations cannot be held in a pending state for more than 7 days, so for back orders and special orders, we must either capture or cancel, or collect funds through a more traditional transaction. Pro Outboard Engines reserves the right to cancel an order at any time. 

Special Stock and Scratch & Dent Units

Due to limited supply, all Special Stock and motors are first come, first served. Sale pricing is exclusive to each unit’s VIN number and can not be applied to other units.

Special Orders

Our representatives will be happy to assist you with all your special orders. Please supply us with all manufacturer information pertaining to the product you wish to order (i.e., model number, name, and color). Pro Outboard Engines is not responsible for incorrect manufacturer information. With few exceptions, Special Orders may not be cancelled or returned. Items shipped directly from the supplier/manufacturer are billed at the time of order and may incur an additional service fee imposed by the supplier. Pro Outboard Engines reserves the right to cancel an order at any time. 

Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges

Returned engines are subject to a restocking fee. Fees start at $150 to cover the dealership cost of reversing a registration on a motor.

Please make sure to include the original packaging, manuals, and all other products pieces with your return. We reserve the right to refuse returns or assess additional fees at our discretion if the merchandise is not in the original packaging and ready-to-be-sold condition.

Outboard engines cannot be returned. For all other products, returns for refunds must be made within 10 days, minus shipping and handling fees. Returns for store credit or exchange must be made within 30 days. Special orders are ineligible for returns. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and notified within 10 days. A refund will be processed once product is received from customer. Customers must notify return within 10 days and provide a tracking number to be eligible for a refund.

Showroom models, demos, clearance, and scratch and dent products may have some cosmetic imperfections or scratches, are discounted due to this, and this is not considered a reason for return or exchange.

Shipping

All Major Units purchasable online ship via UPS or a freight carrier determined by Pro Outboard Engines logistics team. To purchase a major unit that cannot be added to the cart, please contact us via email or have a conversation with our agent on our live chat. Most items not purchasable on the website will require delivery via freight carrier or specialized boat hauler.

Items shipped via freight to remote locations and destinations outside the continental US, including but not limited to Alaska and Hawaii, and isolated areas and islands throughout the Florida Keys, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, may have an additional shipping cost applied. While rare, on the occasion that an order has been placed in one of these areas, a Pro Outboard Engines’s representative will contact you to confirm the shipping destination and rates. At that time, customers may opt to cancel the order at no cost or cover the additional freight fees.

For parts orders, shipping is provided via UPS Ground or USPS Priority and is determined by the Pro Outboard Engines logistics team. Expedited shipping methods are available during the checkout process. The cutoff for same-day shipping is Noon, 12 PM PST Monday-Friday. If you require expedited processing, please call us before or after placing your order—expedited processing cannot be guaranteed.

Flat rate shipping is only available for the lower US 48 states, except for specific special delivery locations such as the Florida Keys and other remote areas and islands. Free shipping covers the base transportation cost and does not include oversized fees, residential delivery charges, limited access fees, lift gate fees, expedition fees, etc. Additional fees are added during the checkout process and listed on both the product pages and on the checkout page.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers will be responsible for paying all shipping costs when returning an order. Make sure to get a tracking number for your shipment. Customers bear the responsibility to monitor the progress of any returned packages.

Please allow up to 5 business days during peak season for processing and shipping on all major units. All orders are processed in the order they are received. Customers may experience slight shipment delays due to a high volume of orders.

Warranty Information & Damaged Goods

Most items we sell are covered by manufacturers’ warranties. If you experience difficulty with a part or accessory, please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email info@prooutboardengines.com. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. For major units (inflatable boats and outboards), please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email info@prooutboardengines.com

We thoroughly inspect all items prior to shipment. We suggest that you also thoroughly inspect the items before accepting delivery. If damage is apparent, refuse delivery or if your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact Pro Outboard Engines Customer Service immediately via live chat or email. Do not discard the box or any packaging materials.

*Please note, all motors require oil and fuel prior to starting. Please follow the instructions in the manual.
